Zeiss Supreme Zoom Radiance - Unique flares for a classic cinematic lookSupreme Zoom Radiance lenses are large format cinema zooms that perfectly match the lookof Supreme Prime Radiance lenses. They match also quite well with vintage prime lenses, especially the Canon K35. Supreme Zoom Radiance lenses feature the same pleasing and versatile image character as Supreme Prime Radiance thanks to their gentle sharpness combined with smooth fall-off, a very shallow depth of field and beautiful bokeh. They render colors with a warmer tone than standard coated prime and zoom lenses. Supreme Zoom Radiance lenses enable cinematographers to create predictable artistic optical flares in a controlled and reproducible way. When zooming, a unique flare shape change will become visible. This can e.g., be used to enhance in-camera effects like vertigo shots / dolly zooms. T* blue coating is the technology that allows to create blue flares when aiming a point light towards the lens and render just in a normal way when lighting normally. Supreme Zoom Radiance lenses allow the camera team and focus puller to work efficiently and reliably. ZEISS eXtended Data technology accelerates preparation for camera assistants and make them ideal for use in Virtual Production environments.
