Vinten Versine 360 Perfect Balance fluid head

Developed in partnership with many of the world’s largest OB companies, Versine 360 is the ultimate fluid head for fixed camera positions without box lenses. Vinten engineers have worked closely with camera operators, visiting broadcasts worldwide to truly understand their needs. The result is a design with extended payload, unique features, and exceptional control, carefully engineered to solve real-world challenges and meet the exacting demands of live television.
Designed to do more Compact and powerful, Versine is perfect for fixed camera positions without large box lenses. Its patented compact balance mechanism supports any camera and non-box lens configuration, including accessories, to make specifying equipment much simpler. The patented multi-standard base design ensures compatibility with four industry-standard fixings including flat base and 150mm bowl, removing the need to include additional adaptors. Now it’s possible to cover any production with a Vector for box lenses and Versine 360 for everything else.
Designed for professionals
Versine 360 draws on acclaimed Vinten technology to give the camera operator perfect control over the frame. ‘Perfect Balance’ offers smooth and precise positioning throughout the tilt range, allowing effortless control during long broadcasts. ‘TF Drag’ technology delivers maximum control at low speeds for accurate long-lens framing and instant whip pan for high-speed tracking without manual drag reduction. Versine provides superior control for operators into extra time and beyond.
Designed with setup in mind
From navigating high gantries, to handling fast-moving events, each new feature is designed to make rigging the Versine 360 simpler. A versatile multi-standard base, convenient carry handle, hoist/tethering point and fixing bolt observation holes are added to help operators move faster. Low-effort multi-turn balance and drag dials, secure Vector-style centre lock, cable clip and accessible platform release lever improve camera setup. The Versine Arm, the world’s first tailor made fluid head accessory arm, attaches securely with a rosette to a choice of tilting and non-tilting fixing points to provide stable side-mounting for viewfinders, script holders, tablets and other operating accessories. Versine 360 offers better flexibility to suit the needs of live broadcasts.

Versine 360 is designed to strengthen Vinten products’ reputation for longevity by improving on the Vision 250, a product known to work perfectly for 25 years. Constructed to endure the rigours of outside broadcast, Versine 360 boasts all-metal construction with low-profile controls made of steel and aluminium. Its OB grade build quality ensures long-lasting performance, even in the most demanding environments, when reliability is paramount.
