Its compact size, low weight, and diverse recording formats make it exceptionally versatile and adaptable, offering the pinnacle of image quality for large format alongside the innovative REVEAL Color Science post workflow.

Multi-format recording including 4.5K Open Gate 

Providing a plethora of recording formats, including 4.5K Open Gate and anamorphic Super 35 catering to 4K mandates, the ALEXA Mini LF supports multiple frame lines simultaneously. This includes a vertical 9:16 crop for social media, maximizing the potential of the tall ARRI sensor. Whether for multi-format shoots or tailored aspect ratios, resolutions, and data rates, the Mini LF excels in cinematic flexibility.

Fully featured connectivity

Equipped with industry-standard connectors, such as a 6G-capable SDI output for 4K monitoring, an EXT port for remote camera control, and built-in genlock, the ALEXA Mini LF ensures seamless integration into various setups. The camera supports LPL and PL lens mounts with LDS, LDS-2, and Cooke/i lens data, and the PL-to-LPL adapter facilitates swift transitions between both standards. The introduction of the new EF LBUS mount expands options, while the Leitz M mount supports a unique range of glass.

Designed for mobility

Weighing in at a mere 2.6 kg / 5.7 lb. with the LPL lens mount, the ALEXA Mini LF is perfectly tailored for compact rigs and stabilizers. Time-saving features include internal ARRI FSND filters, a hot-pluggable viewfinder, and built-in scratch mics.

Latest generation media for Raw capture

Originally launched with the 1TB CODEX Compact Drive, the ALEXA Mini LF now accommodates the 2TB Compact Drive for extended recording times. Control, menu access, and high-quality monitoring are facilitated through the familiar HDR-capable MVF-2 viewfinder or the new daylight-viewable, touchscreen 7" CCM-1 monitor.

Flexible power options

For power, users can leverage existing V-Mount and Gold Mount batteries or adopt the new 24 V B-Mount system introduced with the ALEXA 35, thanks to power splitting boxes. These boxes also provide 10 additional power outputs for accessories. A built-in motor controller with LBUS connectivity eliminates the need for external boxes, resulting in clean and elegant camera builds. Furthermore, the integrated EMIP radio module enables connectivity to various ARRI ECS hand units, including the Hi‑5, WCU‑4, SXU-1, and RIA‑1 enabled LBUS controllers.
