Blackmagic Design Studio Converter
The Blackmagic Design Studio Converter provides the benefits of SMPTE fiber at a much lower price point with a 10G Ethernet cable when working in tandem with the Blackmagic Design Studio 4K Pro camera. Take advantage of your camera's PoE capabilities and power your camera, as well as send all your video, audio, and talkback connections down a single Ethernet cable to the Studio Converter, simplifying your cable run.
In addition, the Studio Converter has a built-in power supply that is well more than sufficient to power your camera, and it provides all the breakout connections from the camera, including converting camera and program return feeds to SDI. This enables patching your camera into your studio environment by just running a single Ethernet cable to your machine room. The Studio Converter can fit two in a rack, side by side, with an optional rack shelf minimising the impact on your rack space.
The studio Converter features a built-in power supply that allows you to power the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 4K Pro by PoE using an Ethernet cable, avoiding the need to power the camera directly.
Furthermore, the Studio Converter has a built-in screen that displays the image from the camera and pertinent information.
