Welcome to the latest issue of our weekly roundup of news from the TV and film industry.. This week we are featuring the new Otus 100mm portrait lens from Zeiss, RODE's second major firmware update for their RODECaster Pro plus the latest firmware updates from Sigma.

The new Zeiss Supreme Primes are a brand new lens line-up designed for the latest generation of large sensor cameras such as the Sony VENICE and Alexa LF. A total of 13 primes have been announced so far ranging from a super-wide 15mm to a 200mm telephoto.

Newly unveiled ZEISS Milvus 1.4/25 is the latest high speed DSLR lens to join the Milvus family. With its new wide-angle focal length, the ZEISS Milvus family now boasts eleven lenses for single-lens reflex cameras, including four focal lengths with a maximum aperture of 1.4, making them perfect for videographers.

Zeiss just added a fourth lens to their esteemed LOXIA family of lenses - the new 85mm f2.4 Loxia. The newest telephoto addition gives photographers and video enthusiasts and professionals yet another amazing tool with which to capture stunning images. The Loxia 85mm f2.4 features a similar lightweight and compact design to the rest of the LOXIA line-up.
