Sony FS7

You can now get an extra stop of light with your Full-Frame PL lenses thanks to the brand new Metabones PL to Sony E mount CINE Speed Booster. Sony FS7, FS5 and A7sII users can adapt full-frame PL lenses such as the Zeiss CP.2, Tokina Cine Primes, and Samyang XEEN.

Fujifilm have just launched a couple of brand new cinema lenses part of their new MK Series. The new lenses include an MK 18-55mm T2.9 and a 50-135mm T2.9 specifically designed for E-mount cameras such as the Sony FS7 II, FS7, and PXW-FS5 just to name a few. The new cinema lenses feature advanced optical performance, ultra-compact and lightweight design, as well as superb cost performance.

Sony have released the latest free firmware update version 4.0 for their very popular Sony FS7 camera, which gives users the ability to record in true 24p in 4K XAVC-I alongside a few other exciting new features.

We'll be exhibiting at the annual BECTU Freelancer's Fair again this year. The event starts tomorrow 27th May from 9:00 am to 18:00pm at a new venue - The Royal Institution in Central London. We'll be showing off the Sony FS5, FS7 and ARRI Alexa Mini cameras as well as for the first time in the UK - the brand new SmallHD HDR Production monitors that were announced at NAB 2016 last month in Las Vegas.

Convergent Design announced they are continuing indefinitely the discounted pricing on their Odyssey7Q+ and Apollo at £1400 + VAT and and £2300 + VAT respectively. This is great news for freelancers and production companies looking to spice up their 4K and Full HD workflow especially if working in a multi-camera environment.
