SmallHD released new OS3 firmware v3.1.2 update for their on-camera monitors for the SmallHD Focus, 500 series, 700 Series, UltraBrights, 1300 Series, 1700 Series, 2400 Series, and 3200 Series monitors. Using the official SmallHD color probe, auto-calibration can be initiated simply by attaching the probe to the monitor via USB and letting the monitor do its thing.

New SmallHD 1703 P3X unveiled its newest 17-inch daylight viewable monitor at this year's IBC show. It comes equipped with a wide colour gamut display that is bright enough to see outdoors. Along with its 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy, the P3X has an amazing viewing angle.

SmallHD just announced a couple of brand new super-bright monitors during the BVE 2017 trade show in London. The new SmallHD Ultra Bright 5-inch 503 and 703 Monitors feature stunning new Full HD displays with incredible brightness up to 2500 nits on the bigger 7-inch 703 model; both monitors are set to ship in March.
