Sony has announced a number of firmware updates on the PXW-X200, PXW-Z90, HXR-NX80 and Content Browser Mobile. These camcorders are very popular and the free updates bring a variety of benefits to operational functions and network improvements.
Previously announced back in September at IBC, the new Sony firmware roadmap for PXW shoulder camcorders is now released. All firmware packages are free of charge and are published on sony.co.uk. Before attempting to update to the latest firmware, customers are reminded to read the embedded Version Up guides.
