After announcing some pretty significant new features in their ALEXA SXT camera lineup, ARRI also announced two new additions to their Master Anamorphic family of lenses - a wide-angle 28mm T1.9 and a 180mm T2.8 MA.

Zeiss just added a third prime lens to their esteemed Batis family of full-frame lenses designed for the latest E-mount mirrorless cameras by Sony - the Batis 18mm f2.8 is a full-frame wide angle monster that boasts super-sharp image quality and premium build quality.

Fujifilm is about to debut a brand new addition to their Cabrio range - the XK 6x20 light weight cine zoom with the impressive 20-120mm range at T3.5 constant aperture. The new light weight zoom lens will be available in industry standard PL mount thus making it a perfect fit for Super35 digital cameras such as the ARRI Amira, Sony PMW-F55, Varicam LT, and C300 PL mount.

Earlier this month, Sony unveiled three brand new lenses including the much awaited 24-70mm F2.8 GM Full-Frame lens, the 85mm f1.4 and the telephoto 70-200mm f2.8 OSS. All three new lenses are part of a brand new line-up called G-Master series - targeting Full-Frame stills photographers and videographers alike.
