The Laowa 12mm f/2.8 ZERO-D ultra-wide angle lensis currently on Kickstarter and it promises to be a stunning full-frame lens not just for landscape or astro photographers, but video professionals as well.

Well-known budget lens manufacturer Samyang just announced their latest 135mm T2.2 Cine Prime, which is the latest addition to their XEEN cine prime lens range. For those who have already upgraded to shooting in 4K or even higher resolutions, using proper cine lenses is key as pulling focus with stills lenses in high resolutions can be quite challenging.

Canon announced a brand new compact servo zoom lens - the CN-E 18-80mm at NAB 2016, which is surprisingly affordable and great for run-n-gun shooting scenarios. Check out these two videos, which go over the features and benefits of the new lens and the ME200S-SH multi-purpose camera.

Zeiss just announced their own Lens Gear Rings for the Zeiss Milvus, Loxia and Otus lenses, making them automatically compatible with follow focus systems for video work. The new Zeiss Lens Gear Rings is made out of premium aluminium with a hardened surface coating that easily slips onto the lens' focus ring.

After announcing some pretty significant new features in their ALEXA SXT camera lineup, ARRI also announced two new additions to their Master Anamorphic family of lenses - a wide-angle 28mm T1.9 and a 180mm T2.8 MA.
