ARRI AMIRA Software Update Package (SUP) 5.0 refines the camera’s Multicam mode - a flexible, open interface for multi-camera broadcast applications. The update which is available for all AMIRA models allowing ARRI AMIRA owners to simply and flexibly control image parameters of multiple AMIRA cameras.

ARRI have just released SUP 4.1 for their ALEXA Mini and AMIRA cameras. Unlike the previous SUP 4.0, the new SUP 4.1 is a maintenance firmware update, which includes bug fixes and improvements on the frame delay of the SDI outputs and the viewfinder in ARRIRAW, 4K UHD, 3.2K or Super 16 recording modes.

ARRI have some exciting news for AMIRA and ALEXA Mini owners. Both cameras have not only been extremely popular on all sorts of productions from documentaries, to high-end promos, commercials and feature films and they just keep getting better and better with every firmware update.

ARRI just released SUP 3.0 Firmware Update for their industry leading documentary AMIRA camera enabling some really exciting new features such as the highest quality ProRes 4444 XQ recording, MPEG-2 422 50Mb/s recording in MXF format for cross-compatibility with a wide array of broadcast workflows and support for certain models Lexar CFast cards.

ARRI had a significant presence at IBC 2015 and as usual their booth was swamped by show attendees eager to get their hands on the ALEXA Mini, the powerhouse Alexa 65, and the next generation ALEXA SXT cameras they had at display at the ARRI booth.
