Sony SF-G Series TOUGH SD cards

Sony recently launched their new SF-G Series TOUGH SD cards that will be available in capacities up to 128GB and combine a rugged design with blazing fast read and write speeds of up to 299 Megabytes per second. The new TOUGH SD cards are set to be 18 times stronger than standard SD cards and are said to be the world’s first to use a single piece monolithic structure for added rigidity. In addition to being water-proof and dust-proof, the new SF-G series Tough cards are also V90 rated for high-bit rate 4K recording.

The O’Connor Camera Assistant Bag has been designed out of quality long-lasting materials including wipeable water-proof outer fabric and zips and genuine leather straps and handle making it ready for the demands modern video production. The O’Connor AC bag also features durable clear mesh pockets as well as additional fixing points for Carabiner hooks or rucksack straps for better handling. The bag also features dividers designed to securely tie down all O’Connor heads and accessories for comfortable and secure transport. The O’Connor AC bag fits into a standard Pelicase 1620 for added convenience.

ARRI LMB 6x6 matte box

ARRI PCA is also introducing a new lightweight LMB 6x6 matte box as a replacement for the current LMB-6. Designed for maximum modularity at a minimum weight, the LMB 6x6 can be used in a 15mm or 19mm rod configuration and features a tool-less setup. The new matte box is also optimized for up to three 6.6 x 6.6 inch filters. The Matte Box can be tilted 10° up and down with the optional Swing-Away Tilt Module to avoid unwanted reflections and accommodate quick lens changes. Camera Assistants can easily fit the matte box directly to a lens via clamp adapters as all common lens diameters are supported.
