Sony has released a new firmware update for their FR7 4K full-frame PTZ cinema camera. The latest Sony FR7 firmware update version 2.0 adds support for free-d protocol for VR/AR systems, support for 3rd party lens controllers to operate manual zoom lenses, adjustable Zoom/Focus speeds when restoring a preset position and much more.
The Sony FR7 is a unique PTZ camera providing smooth pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) control coupled with a full-frame image sensor and a high-quality E-mount ensuring support with a vast range of full-frame lenses from the E mount Sony line-up. Focal length and shallow depth of field provide creative freedom and combine with remote PTZ control capability to open a new world of creative potential.
