SIGMA Mount Converter MC-11 SA-E / EF-E

This firmware makes the SIGMA MOUNT CONVERTER MC-11 compatible with the latest firmware of SIGMA interchangeable lenses.

Firmware update for SIGMA’s interchangeable lenses

This firmware corrects the phenomenon whereby it may occasionally show overexposure when narrowing down to a particular F-number while shooting, and improves the stability of the image in the viewfinder, making it easier to confirm compositions. Furthermore, it improves the AF speed and quality when the lenses listed below are used with the SIGMA MOUNT CONVERTER MC-21 SA-L. This new firmware update is for SIGMA’s interchangeable lenses listed below:

Firmware update for SIGMA’s interchangeable lenses with CANON EF mount

Sigma has just announced that a new firmware update for their interchangeable lenses with CANON EF mount listed below is now available. This firmware improves the stability of the image in the viewfinder, making it easier to confirm compositions. Furthermore, there is an improvement to the phenomena that are particular to some lenses when they are used in combination with the Canon “EOS R” and their “Mount Adapter EF-EOS R”, or “Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R”. This was previously reported in their announcement of January 16th, 2019. This firmware update is for the following lenses:
  • SIGMA 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary for CANON EF mount
  • SIGMA 135mm F1.8 DG HSM | Art for CANON EF mount
