Sennheiser exhibited their first-ever waterproof GoPro mic at the NAB 2017 show in Last Vegas. The Sennheiser MKE 2 elements Action Mic enables sports filmmakers and enthusiasts to capture high quality audio with GoPro Hero4 cameras.
Featuring great Sennheiser technology for the most extreme situations a mic can face. Completely waterproof up to 1 meter (3 feet) and comes with a dedicated wind protector that is capable of reducing any unwanted ambient noise even at speeds of up to 60mph.

Attach the Sennheiser MKE 2 elements Action Mic to the GoPro HERO4 camera by simply replacing the original HERO4 back door of the protective housing with the one that comes with the MKE2. Additionally that also provides a GoPro connection for the HERO4.
The Sennheiser MKE2 mic offers a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and can capture some decent sound with its omni-directional pickup pattern. In result proving it has far more superior capabilities in terms of audio quality especially when compared to the built-in GoPro HERO4 mic.
