Rotolight, an esteemed award-winning UK LED lighting manufacturer, announced their latest evolution in the Anova series - the ANOVA PRO. The new LED light is billed as "the ultimate LED studio/ location light designed for the most demanding of professionals". The new ANOVA PRO is 43% brighter than the previous generation and also includes updated electronics and a 10% weight reduction. The yoke design has also been revamped; the Anova Pro also features a new Flash Sync Trigger input for camera shutter release synchronization at up 150% of the maximum continuous light output. Rotolight Anova PRO LED The new Anova Pro comes in three different models - a Bi-Colour Standard with a 50 degree beam spread, a Bi-Colour UltraWide with a 110 degree beam spread, and a 5600K Fixed Colour version. Rotolight's Anova Pros Bi-Colour LED system features innovative AccuColour LED Phosphor technology enabling the light to deliver very high quality of light with a CRI of 96+ and a powerful output of up to 6545 Lux at 3 feet. The benefit of LED lighting is that these new models are using 94% less energy than a standard tungsten light. Colour and brightness can be accurately tuned via ergonomic dials, and DMX control and V-Lock battery plate comes as standard. Includes wired remote trigger functionality and wireless control (Wi-Fi models only), along with rolling shutter compensation. CineSFX eliminates the need for legacy ‘ flicker box’ workflows, saving significant time and cost to achieve powerful lighting effects.
  • Flash Sync - allows the Anova Pro to be integrated into a traditional photography workflow, whilst providing a hyper-accurate modelling light, along with control of flash power/duration colour temperature and offset, combining the advantages the best of both legacy strobe technology and continuous ‘shoot what you see’ light output.
  • True Aperture Dimming - calculates and displays the correct aperture (F-Stop) for your subject at a given distance, revolutionizing your work flow by eliminating the need for metering. Alternatively, dynamically adjust your brightness level, to work at your desired aperture (F-Stop).
  • Designer Fade - mode provides custom fade up / fade down interview/ production effects for video creators to get the effect in camera, reducing time required in post-production.
