Renowned for their optical quality, design and functionality, Fujifilm have been a leading force in the world of photographic solutions and broadcast lenses for quite some time. As technology evolves and more and more manufacturers look towards 4K capture, something that camera manufacturers have been doing for the past few years, it's only a natural and logical next step for glass makers to start thinking about designing lenses optimised for 4K acquisition.

Sony just released firmware update version 1.20 for their PXW-X200 Professional camcorder. The new firmware activates the MI Shoe so users can use the UWP-D11 series wireless transmitter without any cables as well as power the unit through the MI Shoe. Streaming and Simultaneous recording to 2 x SxS cards is now available. The GPS module that is built-into the camera is now activated as well.

The new ARRI Anamorphic Ultra Wide Zoom AUWZ 19-36/T4.2 is a unique lens that perfectly complements the ARRI/ZEISS Master Anamorphic lenses by extending the range to cover extreme wide-angle focal lengths between 19 mm and 36 mm, without any sacrifice in image quality.
Convergent Design are one of those companies that have very few products, but are really good at what they do. Their recorders have become industry standard on pretty much any shoot involving a Sony FS700/FS7 or Canon C500 when 4K recording is required.
