Vocas will be exhibiting at IBC, the the most important industry trade show occuring in Europe, from September 11 until 15, 2015 at the RAI in Amsterdam. SmallHD have some great news for shooters who are new to the world of 3D LUTs. The innovative US-based manufacturer just announced that they are giving away a free set of colour grades that recreate the unique look of seven different iconic films, and are also publishing multiple video tutorials explaining how to get the most out of these looks during both production and post production—all 100% free of charge.
One of the major announcements by Canon at this year's NAB Show in Las Vegas was of course the highly-anticipated successor the Canon EOS C300, named appropriately in Canon style to the EOS C300 Mark II, this time with 4K on board recording, 4K Raw output and a ton of new features. However, the other big announcement was the smaller, but very capable XC10 hybrid 4K camera.
Blackmagic Design released today Camera Update 2.6 which adds Viewfinder support for all Blackmagic URSA Cameras including the upcoming URSA Mini cameras. Also, the company tweeted earlier today that shipping has commenced on the Blackmagic URSA Viewfinder.
