    Panasonic just announced a brand new Varicam LT - lightweight and more compact version of the Varicam 35. The new camera incorporates the same Super 35 4K sensor from the bigger Varicam 35, as well as the massive 14+ stops dynamic range and the unique dual-native ISO features on its bigger brethren. Estimated cost for the body only is around $18K.

  2. AJA's New RovoCam is a 4K/UHD Security/Industrial Camera

    Announced earlier today at ISE 2016, RovoCam is AJA’s first compact block camera for industrial, corporate, security, ProAV and broadcast applications and quite the departure from the company's first camera - the AJA Cion - which targeted filmmakers and video producers with a Super 35 sensor and UHD ProRes recording on board. RovoCam’s HDBaseT interface supports control of 4K/UltraHD video, power, audio and RS-232 over a single Cat 5e/6 cable.
