  2. Video Devices PIX-E5/7 Firmware Version 3.0 adds H.264 recording and 1TB mSATA SSD Support

    The Video Devices PIX-E monitors/recorders get firmware version 3.0, which opens ProRes recording to the SpeedDrive while simultaneously recording H.264 to an SD card. The H.264 codec is familiar to video content creators offering a good balance between compression and quality to reach low data rates and small file sizes, making it perfect for web streaming, email, and faster file uploads.

  3. Visual Impact is Exhibiting at the BECTU Freelancers' Fair 2016 tomorrow Friday, May 27th

    We'll be exhibiting at the annual BECTU Freelancer's Fair again this year. The event starts tomorrow 27th May from 9:00 am to 18:00pm at a new venue - The Royal Institution in Central London. We'll be showing off the Sony FS5, FS7 and ARRI Alexa Mini cameras as well as for the first time in the UK - the brand new SmallHD HDR Production monitors that were announced at NAB 2016 last month in Las Vegas.
