SmallHD just announced a couple of brand new super-bright monitors during the BVE 2017 trade show in London. The new SmallHD Ultra Bright 5-inch 503 and 703 Monitors feature stunning new Full HD displays with incredible brightness up to 2500 nits on the bigger 7-inch 703 model; both monitors are set to ship in March.
The new Sony Xperia XZ Flagship is the first smart phone to feature a stunning high-resolution 4K HDR display and super-slow motion up to 960fps! It is worth to note that the super-slow motion capability is limited to 720p at the maximum 960fps to just 0.18 seconds, which translates to the very decent 7.2 seconds in real time (played back on a 24p timeline)
Sony has announced the world's fastest SD cards with write speeds of up to 299 MB/s, which should be plenty for even the most demanding 4K recording. The new Sony SF-G Series SDXC cards are planned to be available in Spring 2017.
Fujifilm have just launched a couple of brand new cinema lenses part of their new MK Series. The new lenses include an MK 18-55mm T2.9 and a 50-135mm T2.9 specifically designed for E-mount cameras such as the Sony FS7 II, FS7, and PXW-FS5 just to name a few. The new cinema lenses feature advanced optical performance, ultra-compact and lightweight design, as well as superb cost performance.
