ARRI EF mount for Alexa Mini/Mini LF

ARRI has just introduced a newly designed EF mount for the Alexa Mini LF and Alexa Mini cameras. The new EF mount gives the Alexa Mini and Mini LF camera operators and cinematographers even more flexibility to use popular Canon as well as third party EF lenses. The new lens mount has been designed to accommodate both Super35 and Full-Frame sensors, records lens metadata, and allows for focus and iris control when used the ARRI OCU-1 or Master Grips. Tilta FX9 Cage

Popular third party accessories manufacturer Tilta has introduced a Cage designed for the Sony FX9. The cage fits around camera top handle and includes 15mm rod adapters on the front end allowing you to mount the camera’s viewfinder. The Cage is also compatible with the Tilta Battery Plate in either V-mount or Gold-mount providing additional power outputs for powering accessories. The Tilta Cage is VCT-14 compatible and also features an ergonomic shoulder pad on the bottom as well as a built-in lens adapter support bracket on the front of the plate.


Sigma MC-31 lens adapter

Sigma has just announced the pricing and availability of their MC-31 L-mount to PL mount adapter. The lens adapter is now shipping and it is priced at 679 USD. The Sigma MC-31 adapter allows cinematographers to use PL mount lenses on L mount cameras such as the Sigma fp and the Netflix-approved Panasonic S1H full-frame hybrid camera. The adapter features an all metal construction for durability in addition to shim adjustments on both sides to ensure back focus.
