Rode VideoMic NTG
RODE Microphones has just announced their most advanced on-camera shotgun mic ever. The new Rode VideoMic NTG brings the professional broadcast quality sound of the NTG5 shotgun mic to the VideoMic range of microphones. Thanks to an highly directional pickup pattern, low self-noise and redesigned cable management system, the new VideoMic NTG will be a great addition to any vlogger or content creator using a mirrorless camera or smartphone for their videos. The Variable Gain Control feature makes it easier than ever before to capture cleaner audio regardless of what camera is being used. The VideoMIC NTG also comes with a built-in rechargeable battery with over 30 hours of continuous use.
PolarPro BaseCamp Matte box
PolarPro has announced a new feather-weight BaseCamp Matte box designed for adventure filmmakers, drone cinematography and gimbal work. The BaseCamp benefits from a tool-free design and weighs just over 400 grams when kited out. It comes with an innovative, although proprietary filter system with integrated filter trays for quicker operation. The French flag closes neatly serving as a protector for your filter and lens when packed and the back of the matte box is compatible with PolarPro’s range of circular polarizes filters.
