This week we are featuring Blackmagic Design's 2nd beta version of the DaVinci Resolve 16 with improved stability, new AltaTube RGB tube LEDs with DMX and WiFi App Control from LEDGO plus a new Canon RF to PL lens adapter from Vocas.

DaVinci Resolve Beta 2

Blackmagic Design have just released the 2nd beta version of DaVinci Resolve 16, which improves stability and features dozens performance enhancements based on user feedback. Major improvements in Beta version 2 include improvements to the new cut page, now with more support for additional keyboard shortcuts and better timeline scrolling, managing offline media, adjusting audio volume, snapping, moving tracks, trimming gaps and more. Stability in Windows is also greatly improved, as is H.264 rendering. Automatic quality options are now shown on the deliver page for H.264 and H.265 clips on Windows. LEDGO Alta Tube RGB

LEDGO are known for good quality and affordable LED lights and the company recently announced their new AltaTube RGB tube LEDs with DMX and WiFi App Control. Currently available in a 2 foot, 4 feet and 6 feet sizes, the AltaTube RGB tubes offer extensive creative options including built-in colour filters and lighting effects such as Cop Car, Storm, Candle Light, Monitor and more. The LEDGO AltaTube LEDs have a high CRI rating of 98+ and offer Kelvin temperature adjustment from 2700-7500K as well as Hue, Saturation and Intensity control.

Vocas RF to PL mount

Vocas have been making high quality PL lens adapters for years and recently they announced they are also making a Canon RF to PL lens adapter. The new lens adapter comes also with an option for 15mm rod support and gives Canon EOS R and EOS RP users the ability to use professional PL mount lenses with the latest Canon full-frame mirrorless cameras. The new Vocas RF to PL mount is priced around 430 Euros and is now available to order.
