This week we are featuring the new CN-E 14-35mm and CN-E 31.5-95mm cine zooms from Canon, Wooden Camera's new Elite Accessory System for the Sony VENICE 2 & Rialto 2 and Autocue's overhaul of their teleprompter range by introducing 'Presenting Simplicity'.

Canon CN-E 14-35mm and CN-E 31.5-95mm

Canon has expanded their Flex Cine Zoom range with two new models. The new CN-E 14-35mm and CN-E 31.5-95mm cine zooms feature a superfast maximum aperture of T1.7 and have been optimised for Super 35 digital cinema cameras such as the new Alexa 35 and many others. The lenses are available in either EF or PL mount, which are interchangeable giving you a wider camera choice. Perfect for capturing cinematic live and broadcast events thanks to their 11-blade aperture, the new Flex Zooms have another unique feature - they can also be made compatible with Full-Frame sensors with additional optical kits, which does require them to be serviced by Canon certified technicians. And last, but not least, both PL lenses support lens metadata via Cooke/i and Zeiss Extended Data for more efficient post-production.

Wooden Camera Elite Accessory System

Wooden Camera has announced new accessories for the Sony VENICE 2 and the Rialto 2. Called the Elite Accessory System, the new set of accessories offer a new design language in service of elevating the camera workflow and providing users with a new modular accessory system for variable configurations. Designed to optimise the VENICE’s functionality, the new Elite System comprises a unique Quick Release Top Plate with an integrated dovetail, a FacePlate Cage for the sensor block and an ARCA base plate. The Rialto 2 accessories include a fully-featured sensor cage system that includes a lens-centered Baseplate, Top Plate, a 15mm Dual Rod Clamp, and an Ultra Carry Handle.

Autocue Present Simplicity

Autocue has announced a complete overhaul of their teleprompter range by introducing 'Presenting Simplicity'. The legendary teleprompter maker has redesigned its entire range to suit the needs of the modern creator and broadcaster. Making their debut at the upcoming NAB Show in Las Vegas, the Autocue range now features three distinct series of teleprompters, including the Explorer Series, which offers complete prompting solutions with simple HDMI teleprompters for videographers and those filming corporate gigs, while the more advanced Pioneer Series offers broadcasters a full set of prompting solutions with live editing software for live broadcasts. The Navigators Series on the other hand provides conference prompter packages for public speakers.
