Laowa Primes for M4/3

Unique lens maker Laowa has released four new compact and affordable cine primes for Micro Four Thirds cameras. The widest Laowa 6mm T2.1 Zero-D lens brings an extraordinary 121 degree wide angle of view enabling users to capture stunning vistas while also bringing an impressive close focus distance of just 9cm. Next up is the Laowa 10mm T2.1, which also carries the Zero-Distortion badge and also brings 0.8 mod focus and iris gears in addition to an advanced optical formula composed of 11 elements arranged in 7 groups with 2 aspherical pieces of glass. Perfect for cameras such as the new Panasonic GH6, the Laowa 17mm T1.9 comes with an even faster aperture for some stunning bokeh, while the 50mm T2.9 features Apochromatic elements and Macro capabilities.

Aputure 1200d Pro

After months of anticipation, Aputure has just launched their most powerful flagship LED - the 1200d Pro. Aimed at gaffers and rental houses, the 1200d Pro rivals traditional HMIs with a monstrous output of up to 83,000 lux. The production ready design features Aputure's most weather tight and rugged construction to date boasting IP54 dust and weather resistance, a protective rolling case, and three new reflectors for different lighting scenarios. The unit also features 0 to 100% stepless dimming, built-in Lumenradio and DMX and Sidus Link app support for seamless control via bluetooth. Aputure also launched a new lighting modifier called the OctaDome 120, which comes with two types of diffusion providing smooth and soft light to any Bowens mount Aputure LED light.

Bright Tangerine Rangefinder Mount

Bright Tangerine has introduced their new Cine Tape Rangefinder Bracket for the Misfit Kick, Kick 360 and ARRI LMB matte boxes. Designed and manufactured in Britain, the new Bright Tangerine Rangefinder mount bracket provides a pivoting base to support professional optical measuring devices such as Cine Tape, CineRT Focus Bug, Preston Light Ranger or ARRI UDM-1. However, unlike other mounts available, this new bracket can swing away giving the camera assistant clear access to the filter tray for quick filter changes before repositioning the Cine Tape sensor. The custom made locking screw allows users to safely secure the swing-away mechanism so that the Rangefinder stays in its calibrated position.
