ARRI LightNet
ARRI has just launched their new LightNet software platform offering smart monitoring and remote management of broadcast studio networks. This new interactive and intelligent platform offers an easy to follow and understand setup, and enables broadcast facilities to streamline their lighting control workflow from a single platform. Offering remote access and an intuitive interface, the platform supports fixtures from multiple manufacturers as well as established lighting protocols. The ARRI LightNet platform has been developed as a flexible and powerful tool to assist lighting technicians monitor, identify, adjust and correct faults in both DMX and IP-based broadcast studio environments.
Aputure 600x
Aputure has just announced a new powerful light for pro users - the highly anticipated 600x Pro bi-colour LED. Twice as bright as their already powerful 300X, the new 600x Pro supports color temperature adjustment from 2700 to 6500K with zero to 100% stepless dimming, without sacrificing light quality thanks to their precision color blending optics technology. The Aputure 600x Pro features a durable dust and water resistant design, while offering a Maximum and Constant Output mode and an incredible 18,000+ LUX output at 3 meters. The light accepts Bowens mount light modifiers and offers Multi-Voltage battery support giving users more options to power the light. And just like the 600D Pro, the new bi-color version can also be controlled via the Sidus Link bluetooth app or wireless DMX.
Vaxis Cine 8
Innovative camera accessories maker Vaxis has announced the Cine 8 - a new 8.9-inch wireless monitor with built-in wireless functionality. Targeting professional users, the 1500 nits bright display allows camera operators to clearly monitor the image outdoors, while the touchscreen functionality paired with an intuitive and easy to navigate operating system makes it easy to change settings and make adjustments to your monitoring preferences. The monitor is also equipped with 6G-SDI and HDMI connectivity allowing for split screen monitoring of two different signals. In addition, the Cine 8 supports both the REC.709 and BT.2020 HDR color space and comes packed with a host of professional monitoring features such as false colour, waveform, vectorscope, anamorphic de-squeeze and custom 3D LUTs support.
