This week we are featuring the new 32-inch pro monitor from Sony - the latest in their PVM-X range, AngelBird's AtomX CFast Adapter for Atomos devices and the new and affordable CineEye 2S PRO wireless video transmission system from Accsoon.
Sony PVM-X3200
Sony just expanded their PMV-X range of professional monitors with the new PVM-X3200. The latest 32-inch 4K HDR TRIMASTER pro monitor is color matched to the top-tier BVM-HX310 Master monitor, at a much more affordable price. Geared towards professional use in live production and cine workflows, the new X3200 model offers 1000 nits brightness and features 12G SDI, quad-link 3G-SDI, 3D LUT support, waveform and vectorscope monitoring tools and more. An optional HDR to SDR conversion license will also be available in the near future. Sony has also released new firmware updates for the PXW-Z750, Z450 and X400 broadcast shoulder cams with various enhancements relating to the HLG Look function, S-log3 recording, extended cache recording times, network improvements, and more.
AngelBird AtomX CFast Adapter
Camera recording media and accessories maker AngelBird has announced a new AtomX CFast Adapter for Atomos devices. With the new CFast to AtomX SSD Mini Adapter you can use fast recording media such as CFast 2.0 in the SSD slots on Atomos recorder/monitors such as the Ninja V, Shogun 7, Neon rage, as well as the newly announced Ninja V+. As with all AtomX accessories, expect a rugged build quality and compatibility with the latest compressed raw formats such as ProRes RAW.
Accsoon CineEye 2S PR
Wireless video systems manufacturer Accsoon has announced a new and affordable CineEye 2S PRO wireless video transmission system with a range of up to 350 meters. The system can send a clean Full HD video signal via SDI or HDMI giving users the option to use it with both professional cine cameras as well as more affordable mirrorless models. The CineEye 2S Pro features a high-end dual channel transmission system operating at 5.8Ghz and 2.4Ghz thus eliminating interference. The system also features a solid, professional build quality and extremely low latency of signal transmission making it ready for any film set.
