This week we are featuring ARRI's new new rod mounting bracket for their ALEXA mini and AMIRA cameras, the Aputure LS 600 Pro LED as well as the new Vaxis Atom 600 KV wireless system for The Red Komodo.
ARRI Rod Mounting Bracket RMB-8
ARRI has some new accessories to help you rig out your ALEXA Mini or AMIRA camera rig. The new Rod mounting Bracket RMB-8 features a compact design and a 19mm rod mount with 3/8th inch-two pin interface. The RMB-8 is equipped with a captive ARRI Multi HEX screw that allows the use of 3, 4, 5, and 5/32-inch HEX keys. The RMB-8 is a compact solution for adding lens motors or repositioning a viewfinder without any additional hassle or adding bulk to your camera rig.
Aputure LS 600 Pro LED
The long-awaited Aputure LS 600 Pro LED is now available to pre-order and will be shipping in the 2nd week of December. The new Aputure LS 600 Pro is one of the brightest single-point source LED lights on the market boasting an impressive output rivaling commonly used legacy 1.2K HMI lights regularly used on commercials and Film and TV productions. The LS 600 Pro is compatible with the F10 fresnel and barn doors for additional light shaping, as well as the Sidus link smartphone app in addition to DMX. The lamphead is dust and light rain resistance adding to the fixture's versatility. And last but not least, the 600 Pro comes with a redesigned control box with support for both 14.4V and 28V V-mount or Gold mount batteries.
Vaxis Atom 600 KV wireless system for The Red Komodo
Up and coming wireless manufacturer Vaxis has finally launched their ATOM 600 KV dedicated wireless transmitter system for the RED KOMODO. The system features a compact design with a rotate-able V-mount battery plate, HDMI and SDI loop-out and compatibility with the rest of the VAXIS receiver line-up. In addition, the system can transmit a 1080p video signal from the RED KOMODO to distances of up to 600 feet line of sight with very low latency of 80 milliseconds. The ATOM 600 KV can also transmit a signal to up to 3 mobile devices via WiFi.
