The perfect companion camera to the FX9, the new FX6 also features the same S-Cinetone picture profile for excellent out of the box colours. And for those looking to get the maximum dynamic range out of the camera, SLog3 cine is the prefered choice of gamut. In addition, much like the Sony a7s III, the new FX6 uses dual memory card slots for either CFExpress Type A, or fast UHS-II v60 and V90 SD Cards. Sony launches the FX6 The compact camera body and removable top handle make it ideal for use on gimbal stabilizers on a huge range of productions from music videos, to corporate work and documentaries. The Sony FX6 is also capable of outputting a 16bit RAW signal out of the SDI output without the need for an extension unit like on the FX9. This raw signal is then recorded on the Atomos Shogun 7 as 12bit ProRes RAW in 4K up to 60 frames per second.
