Sony FX9 V2.01

Sony recently released a major firmware update for the FX9. However, soon after the release of firmware v2.0, a minor bug was discovered, which has now been fixed. Therefore, Sony just released firmware v2.01 which fixes this issue, while containing the same great new features in firmware v2, such as Eye AF support, custom 3D LUTs, full-frame 4K/50p and much more. Canon CJ20 4K

Canon has launched a brand new portable 4K broadcast zoom lens. The new Canon CJ20 boasts an impressive 20x zoom range and a built-in 2 times extender for even more reach. In addition, the lens is optimised for the latest 4K shoulder camcorders with 2/3rds inch sensors for delivering exceptionally sharp images while keeping a low profile form factor. Designed for medium sized sporting events coverage, the new CJ20 also comes with enhanced operational controls such as quick power-on button and improved on-board display.

SmallHD Cine 7 Sony VENICE Camera Control License

SmallHD are expanding the capabilities of their incredible Cine 7 on-camera monitor. The company just announced a new Sony VENICE Camera control license, which allows camera operators and assistants to quickly adjust major camera parameters such as White Balance, ISO, Frames Per Second and Recording Mode directly from the Cine 7s touchscreen. In addition to the VENICE Camera Control License, SmallHD is also offering a Cine 7 monitor bundle with the VENICE license and control cable included.
