RED 8K Video from Space
NASA just released the first 8K video shot in space. Filmed on the RED Helium 8K camera, the latest video from the International Space Station gives us a uniquely detailed look at the life of astronauts in space. RED and NASA have been working together for some years now on capturing astonishing perspectives thus aiding in the hugely important scientific research effort in zero gravity. Zoom Q2n-4K
Zoom have released the Q2n-4K, which is a handy 4K video recorder designed for musicians. Building upon the previous Q2n model, the new version adds 4K/30p recording, and a new 15.2mm wide angle lens with five different field-of-view settings, enabling you to choose from wide shots or singles without changing lenses. The Zoom Q2n-4K can also be used as a standalone audio recorder saving audio data independently in uncompressed WAV format in broadcast quality up to 24-bit/96 kHz. The unit also supports live streaming to popular platforms such as Facebook, Youtube and Twitch.
DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise
DJI have launched the Mavic 2 Enterprise Drone, which is a more industrial version of their Mavic 2 Zoom consumer drone. What is different here is that the Mavic 2 Enterprise features a self-heating battery, 24 GB of internal storage and an extended port for a new range of DJI modular accessories, which include a bright spotlight, speaker and beacon, all of which are vital accessories in rescue missions. The Mavic 2 Enterprise has been designed for use in critical operations such as emergency response and rescue, law enforcement, and infrastructure inspections.
