New Firmware 3.30 for Sony A7R II Improves Stability & Overheating
Sony just released the latest firmware version 3.30 for their popular full-frame mirrorless beast the Sony A7RII. The latest firmware offers improvements such as “optimizing temperature control...” which will hopefully prevent overheating when shooting 4K video for prolonged periods of time as some users have experienced in the past.
Sony A7RII Firmware 3.30 details:
Adds support for Radio Controlled Lighting System
Improves stability in picture shooting mode (optimizing temperature control, effect is different according to temperature)
Adds support to output video via HDMI (still mode) when using the Remote Camera Control software
Improves overall stability and operability of the camera
