2018 started with a UK exclusive JanuARRI week: a whole week of events dedicated to the award winning world of ARRI. JanuARRI week focused on video production, with a new topic featured each day. This was a great opportunity for those that attended to learn from the industry professionals including ARRI experts as well as getting immersed in the latest kit.
Each day was structured as a walk-in session, starting with short presentations and for attendees to then spend as much time to get the most from the events. Equipment demonstrated includes the ALEXA Mini, ALEXA SXT, ARRI lenses, Wireless control system WCU4, ARRI wireless Video System and general camera accessories.

JanuARRI week kicked off with an ARRI wireless systems open day focusing on Wireless and features the ARRI wireless video system and the WCU-4 wireless lens remote controller. This event gave all those that attended an opportunity to try out the wireless systems along with a range of cameras, lenses and accessories for yourself and understand the benefits by talking directly to the ARRI product experts.
The second day was a general ARRI camera hands-on open day, whilst the third day was structured to give advice on lighting techniques especially when using the new ARRI SkyPanels, M18 and other LED panels in the range. There was a chance to try out a range of soft lights along with a range of cameras, lenses and accessories for yourself and understand the benefits by talking directly to the ARRI product experts.
The fourth and last day were specifically ARRI ALEXA Mini and ALEXA SXT open days. Focusing on configuring the ALEXA cameras for both studio and run & gun operations. DoP Steven Gray directed our fourth day, showing how he configures and sets-up the ALEXA Mini camera.
