Based in Germany, Gecko-Cam has used their considerable expertise gained from servicing and repairing cinematographic equipment to produce their own set of professional video and cinema lenses.  The Genesis G35 series of cinema primes were first launched at NAB 2017 consisting of 7 lenses in a set: 14,5mm, 20mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 135mm. These lenses have a 46.3mm image circle, which is larger than 35mm Full Frame, so it covers cameras with a full frame format sensors as well as larger sensors, including the RED 8K VV Monstro. These full frame lenses have a more vintage vibe to their image, rather than the ultra-crisp modern look and Gecko-Cam claims they are similar to the Canon K35 in image quality with a price point closer to ZEISS CP.3s. The target market is owner operators and rental houses due to the high quality but affordable price.  Recently they have added to their range of lenses the new Genesis G35 Vintage 66.
