Our event will give you a change to get up close and personal with Panasonic's new 4K Super35 VariCam LT. Not only that, but you will also have the opportunity to talk directly to Holdan's Head of Technology, Richard Payne.
The VariCam LT is a lightweight and compact 4K Super 35 camera, a true departure from the modular design of its predecessor; however it does share a lot of the features of the VariCam 35 as well as the ability to shoot in multiple formats ranging from 4K, UHD, 2K, and HD.
The advantages to using this unique camera are endless; it is also fully capable of High Dynamic Range (HDR) image capture thanks to its 14+ stops of dynamic range at its dual native ISOs of 800 and 5000. Featuring the same sensor as the 35, ProRes recording capabilities up to 24fps in a crop sensor mode and can take canon EF or PL mount lenses.
This event is ideal for independent filmmakers, documentary makers and corporate production creators.
We will run two walk-in sessions throughout the day - one in the morning at 10am to 12 noon; and the 2
nd session from 2pm to 4pm in the afternoon - at our Teddington branch. Best of all, this event is FREE to you and friends that are interested in learning more about the ideal camera for handheld, Steadicam, Jib, Crane, Drone, Gimbal, and overall cinema verité work. This event is a must for anyone interested in the above.
The VariCam LT is half the price and size of Panasonic flagship Super35mm 4K cameras and uses the same sensor, so on paper, it looks very impressive. However, it's the pictures that count and you can only judge that by seeing it in action.
On the day, you will learn:

The day also includes a Q&A session with plenty of time for you to get your hands on the kit.
