Sachtler/Vinten Flowtech 100

The Vitec Group just announced the Flowtech 100, which brings 100mm bowl compatibility to their revolutionary carbon fibre Flowtech tripod technology offer under the industry leading Sachtler and Vinten brands. The Flowtech 100 is incredibly fast and easy to set-up thanks to its unique quick release brakes, while the carbon fibre construction helps keep the weight down. The Flowtech 100 is available with a mid-spreader for added rigidity and can support payloads up to 30kg.

Fujifilm - XT3 mirrorless camera

Fujifilm announced the new XT3 mirrorless camera with a new back illuminated 26 megapixel APS-C sensor, full sensor autofocus coverage and ground breaking 4K video capabilities. The XT3 can record 4K/50p internally in a 10bit H.265 codec, a first for a mirrorless camera. The camera also benefits from internal F-Log for maximum dynamic range, dual SD card slots as well as a clean 10bit output, which is supported by external recorders such as the Atomos Ninja V. Hybrid Log Gamma or HLG will be made available with a future firmware update.

Cooke Optics 50mm full-frame Anamorphic lens

Cooke Optics will debut their new 50mm full-frame Anamorphic lens at IBC 2018, which will be part of a new range comprised of popular focal lengths such as 32mm, 40mm, 75mm, 100mm, 135 and 180 next year. The new Cooke Anamorphic lenses will have a 1.8x squeeze ratio to accommodate the larger full-frame sensors in cameras such as the Sony VENICE and RED Monstro 8K, while still utilizing over 90% of the effective sensor imaging area.
