RØDE Microphones announces the release of their new VideoMic Pro+, an on-camera shotgun microphone. The  VideoMic Pro+ is an improvement on the existing VideoMic Pro boasting  a range of new features.

ARRI release free WCU-4 Software Update Package (SUP) 3.0 which includes new features and functionalities, improvements and bug fixes. The SUP 3.0 for the Wireless Compact Unit WCU-4 will now support custom SD card folder structures for saving and loading files.

RED announce world's first holographic smartphone, the HYDROGEN ONE. The Red HYDROGEN ONE is a standalone, full-feature, unlocked multi-band smartphone operating on Android. RED described the smartphone as a holographic multi-view, 2D, 3D, ARNR/MR, and image capture device.
