ARRI have just released a new firmware version for their very popular SkyPanel LED lighting system. Already with a reputation as one of the most versatile and brightest soft lights on the market, this new firmware is set to enhance this view even further.

Panasonic has recently announced development of the industry's first 8K high-resolution and high-performance Global Shutter Technology using Organic-Photoconductive-Film (OPF) CMOS Image Sensor. The new technology  enables 8K high-resolution (36M pixels) video at 60fps framerate, 450k high-saturation electrons and global shutter imaging with sensitivity modulation function simultaneously.

Panasonic announce details for the upcoming FREE firmware update 2.0 for the AU-EVA1 cinema camera. The firmware will support the camera's recording capabilities,  including RAW outputs, time lapse recording, HD 4:2:2 interlaced formats, ALL-Intra frame recording formats and more. The firmware which is set to be released at the end of March.
