  1. Zeiss Announces Lens Gear Rings for Milvus, Loxia and Otus Range

    Zeiss just announced their own Lens Gear Rings for the Zeiss Milvus, Loxia and Otus lenses, making them automatically compatible with follow focus systems for video work. The new Zeiss Lens Gear Rings is made out of premium aluminium with a hardened surface coating that easily slips onto the lens' focus ring.

  3. ARRI Amira SUP 4.0 Adds Super 16mm Mode and Improves Multicam

    ARRI have announced the details of the latest software update SUP 4.0 for their docu-style single operator camera the AMIRA. The firmware update mirrors a lot of the features of the latest firmware update for the ALEXA MINI, such as Super 16mm mode allowing cinematographers to utilise S16 lenses, however it also features Multicam mode, a feature exclusive to the AMIRA.

  4. New ARRI Pro Camera Accessories for Sony A7S/RII, RED DSMC 2 and Varicam LT

    At NAB 2016, ARRI also announced some additional accessories part of their PCA - pro camera accessories range for popular cameras like the Sony A7sII/A7rII, the Panasonic Varicam LT, and RED DSMC2 bodies such as the Weapon, Raven, and Scarlet-W.

  5. Convergent Design Odyssey7Q+ to Support Varicam LT and Sony FS5 Raw

    Convergent Design announced they are expanding Raw support for new cameras such as the Panasonic Varicam LT and the newly announced Sony FS5 raw as well as the I/O Industries Flare 4K-SDI cameras. The support for these raw options will be included in their Raw Bundle for the Odyssey7Q+ as free updates.
