Pelican Cases announced a brand new line-up of super-light travel cases called Pelican Air that still offer the premium protection and solid durability Pelican are well known for, but also helps frequent flyer shooters avoid extra charges for excess baggage.

Lytro debuted their latest invention - a revolutionary Light Field Cinema Camera that looks like a giant laser gun from a Sci-fi movie rather than a conventional camera, in front of an ecstatic packed house at NAB 2016. Lytro have been making light field stills cameras for a few years on a more consumer level, but recently the company shifted direction completely and now shocked crowds at NAB with their latest demo short film "Life" captured with their revolutionary technology that has the potential to fundamentally change the way movies are shot.

Some of the major Blackmagic Design announcements at NAB 2016 are the brand new Video Assist 4K recorder and 7-inch monitor, some really exciting new features in their colour grading DaVinci Resolve 12.5 suite, and a new and completely overhauled OS/User Interface for URSA Mini 4K and 4.6K cameras.

After announcing some pretty significant new features in their ALEXA SXT camera lineup, ARRI also announced two new additions to their Master Anamorphic family of lenses - a wide-angle 28mm T1.9 and a 180mm T2.8 MA.
