Great news for all C300 Mark II both current and future owners - the camera has now been officially certified for EBU Tier 1 HD and Tier 2 4K Classification for professional broadcast work. The BBC and other leading broadcasters in the UK and Europe often use the EBU classifications when selecting cameras for jobs, and now that the C300 MK II is officially on the list with the impressive 15 stops dynamic range and a wealth of on-board codecs, owner-operators can rest assured their camera has been officially tested.

ARRI has released SUP 4.0 for their ALEXA Mini camera. The latest firmware update adds major new features to the already feature-packed cinema camera. Some of the new features include a S16 recording mode, internal Raw recording, 4:3 anamorphic shooting modes and many more.

Last week, Blackmagic Design announced that their much-awaited Ursa Mini 4.6K & Micro Cinema cameras are shipping and now they have released a new firmware update this time adding new functionality for their URSA Mini 4K global shutter camera.

Canon recently released a collection of very informative and helpful video tutorials on their latest 4K Cinema EOS camera - the C300 Mark II. These new tutorials will help users and video professional interested in learning more about the camera; the tutorials include camera walk-through including buttons placement, changes compared to the original C300, custom picture menus including LUTs and 4K monitoring among many others.

Blackmagic Design just release the latest update for their industry standard colour grading software DaVinci Resolve, which now supports the new raw footage and colour space from the upcoming URSA Mini 4.6K camera. The latest support offers filmmakers even more flexibility when it comes to their colour-grading workflow.
