Our good friend, esteemed cinematographer, storm chaser, and camera expert Alister Chapman stopped by our Teddington headquarters to take a quick look at the new Panasonic Varicam LT, which we are proud to have in stock for both sales and hire as well.

At NAB 2016, esteemed pro accessories manufacturer Vocas showed off their latest accessories for the Sony FS5, the new Spider System for shoulder support, and their new revolutionary sliding system, which allows users to use a camera with multiple base-plates.

Esteemed DoP and Sony ICE Alister Chapman goes through all the Sony pro cameras from the compact A7s all the way through the FS5 and FS7 and up to the top of the range F65 CineAlta camera in an hour long presentation. So, grab a cup coffee/tea and enjoy.

ARRI have announced the details of the latest software update SUP 4.0 for their docu-style single operator camera the AMIRA. The firmware update mirrors a lot of the features of the latest firmware update for the ALEXA MINI, such as Super 16mm mode allowing cinematographers to utilise S16 lenses, however it also features Multicam mode, a feature exclusive to the AMIRA.

At NAB 2016, ARRI also announced some additional accessories part of their PCA - pro camera accessories range for popular cameras like the Sony A7sII/A7rII, the Panasonic Varicam LT, and RED DSMC2 bodies such as the Weapon, Raven, and Scarlet-W.
