The Canon C700 lens mount details where revealed recently by Canon. The service allows customers to go from EF with Cinema Lock to PL mount or vice versa. The Canon C700 is also Canon's first camera allowing users to change the sensor to a Global Shutter enabled one in the future. However, it is worth noting that when the sensor is changed from an electronic shutter one to a global shutter one, the camera loses the ability to use autofocus.
