Go Behind The Scenes of the "The Calling" in the video below: The Canon EOS C700 is available in EF or PL mount versions with an optional dedicated high resolution OLED viewfinder and dedicated accessories such as a shoulder mount and lens grip making it perfect for documentary productions. With it's ability to shoot 4K and slow motion up to 120fps using the full sensor or 240fps in lower resolution and sensor crop, the Canon EOS C700 lends itself to just about any production which requires absolute image quality. Narrative TV drama and feature films can benefit greatly from the perfect integration between the EOS C700 and Canon's CN-E cine primes or cine zooms including the popular CN7x17 17-120mm servo zoom lens. Canon have put in a tremendous amount of work to develop the EOS C700 from scratch, from a brand new 4K sensor to a new body design, which is a major departure from what we are used to seeing in a C500 or a C300 mark II. Taking on a more traditional shoulder design, the new C700 combined with its rugged design can seamlessly integrate into any high-end production environment, while still providing stellar image quality, which we can see demonstrated in "The Calling". The Canon EOS C700 made its debut at IBC 2016 back in September and we had a chance to stop by the Canon booth to shoot this video below.
