Engineered to put the ultimate combination of image quality, resolution and speed in the palm of photographers hands, the 1D X Mark II features a 20.2 Megapixel Full-Frame CMOS Sensor capable of 14 frames per second with full AF/AE tracking and 16 fps in Live View mode onto CFast and Compact Flash cards. Canon 1D X Mark II There is no doubt the Canon 1D X Mark II is a marvel of modern engineering, and even though the stills capabilities of the new camera are more than impressive, the breakthrough improvements on the video side of the camera are no small feat. The 1D X Mark II is not only the first Canon DSLR to shoot 4K up to 60p, but also the first DSLR in the world to do so. Full HD 1080p Slow motion up to 120 frames per second is also possible. For the first time ever we have a DSLR that can cope with such high speed recording options and this is achieved thanks to the CFast 2.0 card slot. The camera also features a Compact Flash card slot, which is used for stills. Dual-Pixel AF in video mode is another major features of the 1D X Mark II. Video producers and DP's who've used EOS Cinema cameras like the C300 and C100 may be familiar with this feature - the ability to track focus in video is definitely invaluable in various situations such as interviews, events and sports.
