Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 12.3.2 Update Adds Support for URSA Mini 4.6K
Blackmagic Design just release the latest update for their industry standard colour grading software DaVinci Resolve, which now supports the new raw footage and colour space from the upcoming URSA Mini 4.6K camera. The latest support offers filmmakers even more flexibility when it comes to their colour-grading workflow.
What's new in DaVinci Resolve 12.3.2
Support for Blackmagic 4.6K Film color science
Blackmagic camera RAW clips now default to BMD Film for color space and gamma
Additional BMD Video gamma option in the camera raw controls for 4.6K DNG clips
New Blackmagic 4.6K Film to video and Rec.709 LUTs
Ability to optionally add source clip frame count to individual clip renders
General performance and stability improvements
According to Blackmagic Design, the new 4.6K film colour science used in the new Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6K camera is capable of producing the impressive 15 stops dynamic range of the camera and is an improvement over the older BMD film colour science used in the 4K URSA Mini, Production Camera and the rest of the lineup. In Resolve 12.3.2 RAW clips from this camera now default to BMD Film color space and gamma, and improvements have been made to the Rec. 709 conversion of this footage
