Panasonic and award-winning high-end Raw accessories manufacturer CODEX once again team up to leverage their engineering and technical expertise of RAW recording in 2K and 4K resolutions to develop a new integrated and smaller VariCam 4K Super 35 camera. The brand new VariCam Pure digital cinematography camera. is a RAW-only camera that takes the VariCam 35 4K recording head and a newly developed 2.0 V-Raw 4K recorder from Codex for a completely new cinematic experience.

With the announcement of the new EOS C700 flagship 4K camera in the EOS Cinema line-up, the now ageing Canon C500 gets a welcomed price drop, that makes it even more appealing to broadcast and cinema productions. Also, ARRI have some new Pro Accessories from their renowned PCA range for the EOS C700.

Zeiss have announced a brad new Lightweight Zoom - LWZ.3 with a very decent range - 21-100mm T2.9-3.9 with Super 35 sensor coverage and Interchangeable lens mount system for maximum flexibility. Documentary and wildlife shooters in particular should take a look at this lens as the lens not only features a good range of focal lengths, but is also quite affordable - at just over £7000 + VAT.

Canon kicked-off the IBC 2016 announcement season with a brand new top-end 4K Camera - the EOS C700 and an updated version of the XC10 called XC15. In addition to the two new cameras, Canon also announced a couple of new HDR 4K reference displays, which promise high-end picture fidelity for post-production professionals.

Legendary tripod manufacturer Sachtler announced their latest addition to their successful FSB medium range tripod line-up - the new FSB 10. This is quite a major announcement as the FSB 10 is the first 100 mm fluid head in the FSB line. This means the FSB 10 is able to support up to 12 kg/26.5 lbs in payload making it perfect for medium sized cameras like the Sony FS7, Canon C100 Mark II, C300 Mark II and similar.
