Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor is a versatile 5-inch HDR touchscreen monitor designed for the PYXIS 6K camera. Offering full camera control and multiple mounting options, the PYXIS Monitor provides the same controls and overlays as the camera’s built-in LCD, making it ideal for rigging or situations where accessories block the internal display. With multiple mounting points, it can be easily attached to any camera rig, ensuring the monitor is always in the optimal position.

Featuring a bright 1500 nit display and a removable sunshade, the PYXIS Monitor delivers exceptional visibility, even in direct sunlight. A single USB-C connection powers the monitor, providing access to live video, record controls, camera menus, metadata, and settings. Additionally, three customisable buttons offer quick access to essential features such as zebra, focus assist, and false colour.

For users requiring flexible mounting solutions, the PYXIS Mount Kit and PYXIS Monitor EVF Kit are available. The PYXIS Mount Kit allows for quick adjustments without unbolting, while the PYXIS Monitor EVF Kit includes the PYXIS EVF Mount, URSA Cine handle and EVF mount to attach the PYXIS Monitor to the camera, making it an excellent choice for documentary filmmakers and camera operators. The monitor also integrates seamlessly with Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras, offering additional crew monitoring or a large-screen viewfinder.
