ARRI CODEX Compact Drive Adapter 

The CODEX Compact Drive Adapter transforms an SXR Capture Drive Dock into a Compact Drive Dock, adding versatility to your existing hardware. While the SXR Capture Drive Dock is macOS-only, is also allows use of the free CODEX Device Manager software, which enables on-the-fly, loss less file size reduction with High Density Encoding (HDE) directly from the drive.

For those who already own an SXR Capture Drive Dock or are working on productions that use both Compact Drives and SXR Capture Drives, the Compact Drive Adapter is the ideal solution. It delivers maximum cost savings without compromising performance.

Important Note: The CODEX Compact Drive Adapter cannot be used as a drive adapter in our cameras (ALEXA SXT, ALEXA LF or the original ALEXA 65). These camera only support recording onto SXR Capture Drives.
